Thanks for your input @D0Verd.....interesting to hear from a millennial that is not lamenting their lot.
Being a fringe boomer, I try to limit my judgement of the younger generations and indeed the majority of my younger friends and relatives are killing it.
The flip side....A friend's millennial daughter recently asked her mother for a cash gift to help her buy her own house. My friend's response was: Sorry, but no. I can see on social media how much you are enjoying your life and how much you enjoy spending. Try to save more of your income.
Personally, I did relax somewhat when I could see that my sons understood 'delayed gratification'.
Good luck to you @daveironore, you are a good example of the younger generations' gumption.. making the most of it ....I hope the next up cycle is grand for you
