sentencing does NOT deter teenagers from anything

by your logic - if some teenagers died in car crashes - then, other teenagers would be deterred from speeding, drinking and driving etc etc

but, I'm sorry to tell you that the tidal wave of teenagers in car accident deaths from speeding, skylarking, drinking and driving etc etc -

hundreds of thousands of them ------------ do not deter teenagers one bit from continuing the practice


you may argue for a 'mighty sentence' for various reasons ------ but, as to it being a 'deterrent' for others to not do such things ------
