Obviously “any” Australian government couldn’t work out a comparable deal like that because they will be hamstrung by many factors.
The red and green tape will add at least another 50-90% on the price and how much will the union worker’s be expecting a hour to “lean on a shovel “ for 12 hours a day?
Surely that’ll add another 30-60%?
Then there will most definitely be issues with finding an appropriate gender balance of workers and Pro-noun conscious workers will add to the bun fight of getting the contract done on time.
It’s no wonder that the Lib’s are struggling to put a cost number on these projects.
