    Such sharp drops have only occurred 3 times since 2000:
    - Dot Com bubble
    - Financial Crisis
    - Pandemic

    All of them ended with a sharp economic downturn

    The worst part: This is happening when the consumer has run out of excess savings

    And is holding record levels of credit card debt
