Thankyou goes out to Theo from myself andall the mum and dad shareholders of Metallica who have supported him in his endeavorsto bring Metallica to production.

His trip started 6 years ago with a coffee at south bank where he agreed to nominate as one of three Directors to oust the then Metallica board who were endeavoring to drive the Metallica ship across the Great Divide to Monto to merge with a now defunct company.

After keeping the ship in the water and heading up the coast it was then met with the aftermath of the previous boards attempt to sell Sconi outside of Greenvale. They having forgotten to include all the tenements in the sale.

Navigating further North and around the Cape he was able to clinch a deal that saw the moth balled Heavy Mineral Sands deposit and plant sold.

Still in the same area was the Urquhart Bauxite deposit and the failed attempt by previous board to get it off the ground. He manages to do a deal that saw Metallica extract itself from that debacle.

He then took on the silica sands deposits at Cape Flattery and brought it to a position where production was to commence at the end of 2026.

During the same time period another journey by the Diamond T Wrecker had also been going on from Western Australia.

The Diamond T Wrecker having squandered lots of shareholder money with its WA project (apparently ready to go next Christmas – not to sure which Christmas) had lumbered across Oz to below Cape Flattery and found sand.

Again, after squandering another $10m or so of shareholders money, the Diamond T Wrecker become hopelessly bogged. Apparently, somebody finally told the hapless crew that you couldn’t built a rock jetty into a marine park and it had to be in an existing Harbour.

The hapless crew then though, that bloke up further at Metallica, he must know something we don’t know, let go and check over his boat, he must know what he's doing.

Having checked over the boat and being pretty impressed they smoked a peace pipe and agreed that they wouldn’t smoke it again for two years. Heeding the health warnings as you do.

But the hapless crew through, if he can do this, so can we, so they spent more of their shareholders money and it just became a bit too hard to drive the Diamond T Wrecker through all that swamp and sensitive areas of sand and get any further.

So, they thought spending all this shareholders money, just isn’t working, what if we get some cheap baubles and trinkets and give them to the sailors of this bloke’s ship. Won’t cost a cent and we can take what he is doing.

So, the hapless crew got a bloke who apparently knew what he was doing when he looked after all the treasure of the land they lived in and they got a couple of big guys who had made friends with this fellow who had the boat and they ganged up on him.

But the boat captain fought back and his sailors threw away the trinkets and baubles thinking that the admiral of the fleet would protect them against people who broke promises and who would not listen to reason.

Unfortunately, the admiral was looking the other way, he was far to busy looking after the other Diamond T Wreckers (as there are many in the country) making sure that the small shareholders accepted baubles and trinkets.

Time will tell if that truck will make it all the way. A truck is only as good as it’s driver.

Walk with your head high Theo and good luck in your future endeavors.
