Demand for NdPr has been constant, but there was an over supply after the covid shortage, and anylists are predicting that bond prices will rise in the second half of this year. Although EVs are hot news around REE, they only make up 13% of the current market, but increased demand for EVs will bring a tailwind for REEs.
The EU and US tariffs are of minimal impact now, as China still offers a 15% tax cut on their exports, but this will eventually catch up, with Chinese producers themselves complaining about lower prices, and profit margins.
