People who critcise the first past the post system seem to be forgetting the Australian political parties all generally get elected on a minority % of votes. ALP got elected on about 30% in the last election ie 70% didn't vote for them.
Out of interest when was the last time the LNP or ALP got 50%+ of the primary vote?
