@twouptom; public school kids rarely ever do 'hard drugs' - they just don't have access to that sort of money. Their drugs of choice are their parents smokes, vapes and grog - or supplies provided by adults at local sports clubs!

Access to 'hard drugs' is however widespread throughout elitist taxpayer-funded 'private schools'. I know because guess what those 'private schools' do when the media finds out ... they expel the kids who then have to be quietly enrolled in public schools such as my own.

Re the parents who pay extra to send their kids to taxpayer-funded 'private schools', most are whom are indeed well-meaning if somewhat naive and deluded. Rarely have they made similar efforts to be supportive of their local public schools and indeed thinks that by segregating their own kids from those of battlers that they're doing the right thing - in most cases they're just wasting their money and their kids will achieve a narrower whole of life education outcomes as a consequence.

I'll spare you some of the recent media reports about what really happens within the walls of taxpayer-funded 'private schools' including boys' private school rights to demand 'head' from teenage girls.
