I spared you the recent Aussie commercial property downgrades by Macquarie Bank...... Vacancies approaching 20% in some cases.

Tough not to lose money when that happens. Redemptions get frozen too. Apparently, you can lose on property in Australia, and they don't want to let you access your money either.

Problem is you only talk extremes in the property market and don't take into account the differences in different markets.
