I can't remember what I said about China - but, it would have been about Chinese cars probably in regard to price - cost of purchase - they have that part of the ingredient in place (don't know about the quality yet - but, if it's not here, it will be soon) - in regard to western markets I've no idea what the rest of the ingredients in China are like - charging network etc etc - it's of little interest to me but, I do know a little about such things in the US, in Oz and in some parts of Europe in Oz - it's woefully behind, I think much of america would have to be as well - it's huge apartment blocks etc. Europe is a mix - and there are huge apartment blocks in Europe as well - but, Europe has been adapting things like medieval cities - forever Aussies adapted from out in the backyard dunnies to sewerage in France in Medieval cities - well, they've been adapting for hundreds of years - so moving to EV's and how to charge them - is ------- just another thing. It's culture is also ----------- small. Small cars. In France - my god, could one imagine having a yank tank - you couldn't get the things around a corner - literally. china - in china - don't know, wouldn't have a clue - but, I know this ------ they're in front on the EV purchase price game ------------ and they are pulling away so much so that europe and america are applying whopping tariffs to slow em up

last I read, you can find charging stations for EV's in even the remotest of Chinese peasant villages. On many of the lithium threads there has been much talk over the years about what should come first, the chicken (chargers), or the egg (EV's). The Chinese chose the chicken for obvious planning reasons, confident that EV's were the future. The West chose the late hatching egg because of poor planning and are doomed to suffer the consequences.
