Ok so I’m excited to see this as one thing I have been looking for in the Uk is any evidence itrack advance is getting noticed or picked up in Uk govt strategy’s.

I have posted previously about the massive eye surgery backlogs in the Uk and govts combined approach to national funded training for new surgeries and appointment of a new nationwide director of clinical eye care Louisa Wickham.

Louisa, is resident at moorfields specialty eye surgery and training hospital, was reappointed this year for a term until 2027 and sits on the specialist ophthalmology clinical reference group which reccomends which products to use nationally, and by default which will be bulk purchased using NHS funds.

so as a result I find this post particularly interesting as whilst it great to see new surgeons flying to the Uk and learning to use iTrack advance (in this instance from Madrid) what’s awesome is he is learning to use it in Moorfelds hospital, Louisa’s home training hospital.

so joining the dots here I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to say there are positive indications itrack advance may get wider growth and use in uk in coming year (s), potentially at an unexpected scale as part of uk NHS approach.
