As a Pole I do know a little about the West and the East...hence Polish militarisation in the last 10-15 years. We are very aware of Russian and Western duplicity. It takes a Pole to know both are not friends!
Also, as a Pole I know that Ukraine has never been its own independent nation (until recently). I also know their dark history from WW2. My grandfather told me al about the Ukrainian special hatred for Jew and Slav alike.
But that ugly past has nothing to do with the millions of innocent Ukrainians who are suffering, fled, or died in this current barbarism.
I find it interesting that the West and Ukrainian puppet leadership won't negotiate or use that good old fashioned peace lever...diplomacy!
What does that tell you about the situation for the average Ukrainian?
What does that tell you about their desire to finish this and get the Ukrainian people out of the meat-grinder?
