Bought some more yesterday. Got smart and missed out on the recent low of 48.5 by pitching at 47.5. Had to settle for a cent or so up. Been bouncing backwards and forwards between ALK and WGX. Cant say though that I am feeling the emotional spark in either direction. Just casual relationships. Nothing has grabbed my heart recently. In fact been spending a bit of time with Madam Coal. Almost feel grubby for having done so but not enough to dissuade me.
Finding it hard not to be "down" on gold. The fall of CAI and the failure of ALK to see that coming (really??) makes me wonder about the insight and intellectual grunt across the sector generally. Have no desire to rely on a rising gold price as the only driver of performance. Seems a wobbly strategy.
