Dear Penny, you are right of course, as when we pop our clogs it would then have to be sold.
But it is such an old house that it is reaching the end of it’s life.
I know the tenants well, they are really nice. But have no idea about money.
I offered to sell it to them a few years ago and she said, only if the mortgage would be the same as the rent.
We would have given them a good discount, but no way would it be enough.
It just saddens me, that the housing crisis has reached epidemic proportions.
If the Shires were more helpful, there are solutions.
The tiny house movement is a brilliant concept, which could work well if only the shires could loosen up on the strict regulations.
