There has been quite a few others who did the same as JRV.
I can't comment about JRV but I can say a lot about two others that quickly come to my mind. CVI and ADY.
With CVI we tried everything possible even by going as far as having them to call an EGM. But they got away with it simply by issuing more shares which of course were voted in favour of them. ADY has been just as bad. In the meantime the shareholders have lost heaps.
Hence why I am very sceptical about companies that are refusing to deal with their shareholders in a proper governance manner by way of keeping them informed all the time in a proper manner. Once bitten twice shy. And when you get bitten more than once you will become more sceptical, and more alert as well.
I know that it is clutching at straws if we are trying to compare those companies with AAR when, so far, we have not experienced anything of the kind.
But, there is reasons for concerns in the way we have been treated like mushrooms for many years, and Management obsessed with the attitude of continuing to do the same.
