IMO as we know Makuutu is not the best project globally but it's benefit has always been that it is the "next non china rare earth project off the ranks ready to build" therefore management would do well not to completely diaregard it, as other projects get closer to mining Makuutu gets less appealing.

All that is required is to get stage 1 of Makuutu cracking within the next 12 months to keep that first mover advantage in place.

Lots of talk about recycling in the UK and europe, what has Nitish Tyagi been up to the last 12 months? I would hope there has been some progress from the US? surely they are interested in securing a long term rare earth deposit, whats $100M to them for a decade or twos worth of tracable rare earths within the AUKUS framework.
