That would be amazing if any form of remyelination was going on, even a slowdown or prevention of demyelination may be too much to hope for. Demyelination is prominent in a range of neuro diseases. Multiple Sclerosis is the big one, and includes brain atrophy.
For anyone who does not understand the term meyelin, it is the coating on nerve fibers, Think of it as insulation on an electric wire. I think that is correct.
