good question, especiall under current situation.

First, PLS is increasing production, and they will buy lithium from PLS. You can find PLS' offtake agreement with Yahua in March.

Will they buy from Sigma? I think they will do as well. But buying from Sigma will stop buying from LRS? definitely not. China will NOT rely on Canada controlled companies. Canada gov can block companies dealing with China with a single Act, so Chinese companies won't trust Sigma unless they take control which is impossible at the moment. Also, Sigma received letter of arbitration from LG regarding to offtake, looks not realiable.

For Chinese EV markers, they clearly know the benefit of EV while developed countries still hesitate because of high cost of EV. While more EV factories built in Europe, they need more and more carbon footprint compliant Lithium. LRS provides a great and rare chance - big single deposit, low cost, green lithium, no offtake signed, no political obstacle. Just need some prepayment to lock this perfect opportunity it would surprise me if no one come.

Solid state battery is still years away, but they will come for sure. I believe Solid state battery and LFP battery will dominate Lithium battery in near future. Before this come ture, maybe only good low cost projects will survive, and LRS's Colina is one of them.
