“With the delivery of certificates to 63 new operators and specialists in mining plant laboratories, the Undersecretariat of Education and Labor, together with the companies Puna Mining, Manufactura de los Andes and Rio Tinto Rincón Litio, successfully completed the training courses given at the Technical Education School 3177 of San Antonio de los Cobres, in the Training Center of this town, and its respective Annex in Olacapato.”

“The courses were aimed at residents in the area of direct influence of the mining projects, with the aim of providing them with tools and knowledge to bring them closer to the sector. Of the 63 participants, 40 took the Mining Plant Operator course, while 23 completed the Professional Specialization in Mining Plant Laboratory.

The trainings were possible thanks to the support and sponsorship of the companies Manufactura de los Andes, Puna Mining, and Rio Tinto Rincón Litio, which provided specialists and teachers from different areas of mining, logistical resources, and materials and equipment for the practices to carry out the training.”
