Ann: Highly anomalous widespread REE assays at Down Under, page-7

The two images above show radiometric traverses in the tenement GMN : 872427/2023 where anomalous Thorium has been detected.

The image on the left is a Google Earth 3D view where the "hot" areas are marked yellow. On the right, a plan view of the same area where the background is the ground surface elevation (white is high elevation).

In this ann GMN have noted that higher levels of Thorium have been found on the slopes of the hills of alluvium in the tenements. These images seem to support that observation. It is also consistent with a common layered structure of REE mineralisation in IAC deposits. ( post )

The kmz file below contains the GMN Tenement Boundaries in the area and marks the Radiometer Traverses. The file, downloaded and dragged into Google Earth, provides a 3D view of the Traverses. ( GE URL )

Of the 44 traverses mentioned in the ann only 9 were presented in the maps. Most of the unmapped traversals covered tenements some 50km to the west.

Some were over 4km in length. Considering the known elevated Thorium levels in those areas and the extended length of the traverses, IMO this suggests that encouraging Radiometer readings were found.

The survey team apparently went "off piste" whenever higher readings were encountered during the planned traversals. This is indicated by the "orange rectangles" projecting from the Traverse Lines at certain places. IMO this indicates that some prompt investigation beyond the roadside has taken place.

On seeing the number of survey results arriving my only concern here is "will two augers be enough ?" . . . there is opportunity everywhere.
