Just to keep things in perspective, coral trout are caught commercially on hand lines by individual fishermen using a looking-glass.
If the individual catches 40 fish in a day they are doing well. The fish are kept alive.
I suspect NZS or NOF or whatever they want to call themselves are actually renting a tinny with one fisherman doing the fishing and bringing the catch back to the Cody Star on a daily basis.
Perhaps they are doing things on a larger scale and hiring two tinnies.
