All they are doing is kicking the can down the road.
Lepidolite is about 10% of the market they are happy to run that at a loss to keep prices depressed but they wont be happy to keep that share rising as demand rises over the years.
Who knows when, but if prices are supressed long enough sooner or later there will be a demand shock.
