Do you really think people have equal wealth in communism?? Well, in Russia that is not so as according to the following:

    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-04-22/russian-billionaires-add-wealth-forbes-assessment-ukraine-war/102256454

From the above, Russia is said to have over 100 billionaires. Many of those billionaires made money from oil and metals industries. Notions of equality is a myth as it seems the notion that to fight so called climate change hinges only on curbing fossil fuel usage is somewhat a fallacy when countries like Norway increase production and capitalize on Europe's energy hunger:

    https://www.statista.com/topics/11934/oil-and-gas-in-norway/

From the above, Norway is Europe's largest supplier of oil and gas - wait, isn't it also the country that has a high degree of EV uptake?? Irony or hypocrisy or both to fight climate change.

As for in Russia, the uptake of EV's is somewhat subdued by comparison according to the following:

    https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/zeekrs-sales-jump-chinese-dominate-russian-ev-market-2024-06-27/

    Excerpt:

The EV market's development has been hamstrung by a lack of charging infrastructure across Russia's vast territory, and Moscow's traditional reliance on its plentiful oil and gas resources.

From May 2023 to April 2024, more than 20,500 new EVs were sold in Russia.....while 1.28 million passenger cars were sold overall.

Due to EV uptake levels maybe in Russia bad weather will persist whilst there will be good weather across Norway shortly. sneaky.png Wait, Australia is also a vast country but at a guess has more sunshine then either Norway or Russia??

It's a beautiful sunny day locally - helps curb heating usage - save power, save money and do one's bit to save resources, maybe a short trip in the ICE to enjoy the outdoors. smile.png AIMO
