Notions of equality is a myth as it seems the notion that to fight so called climate change hinges only on curbing fossil fuel usage is somewhat a fallacy when countries like Norway increase production and capitalize on Europe's energy hunger:
From the above, Norway is Europe's largest supplier of oil and gas - wait, isn't it also the country that has a high degree of EV uptake?? Irony or hypocrisy or both to fight climate change.
As for in Russia, the uptake of EV's is somewhat subdued by comparison according to the following:
