FMG plans to make green steel which is far stronger than steel made from coking coal.
China has slave labor wages so can under cut us which is why we don't do it on mass like China does.
We do make some steel here but not on amount China does.
We make EV buses here but no idea why we are not making EV cars here. We have all the raw materials to build anything we like really.
Instead we import from China.
