yep. they solved the problem with the fab, but it meant we were late to the party in getting an integrated functional memory array.
of course now we have uncertainty about the process switch between the old "megabit" platform and the new "dory" platform.
if pl5 is smooth run i see no reason why we shouldn't have a reasonable re-rate, given that we've so far proven scaling of the cells themselves, and resolved issues with the fabrication process, so at least theoretically the biggest concern IS pl5. once we have a successful integration of the dory controller its simply a case of producing the cells at a smaller scale, which really is not as much of a technical challenge as what has already been overcome, in my opinion anyway.
