    you make a strong point Tau.... yet I don't see how its in anyone's jurisdiction to judge her for her attire or her beliefs.

    we all choose our own way, she chooses her beliefs and lives accordingly. its her right.

    but I strongly agree that religions are a curse. a legacy of a superstitious bygone era of ignorance and a need to find explanations for events that distress a people.

    we can see the origins of religion in childrens' fantasy explanations of events.... "what if....." scenarios. with adults, often its to avoid the pain of being caught doing wrong, so they look for forgiveness while denying the wrong. if no-one else will give them forgiveness an all-powerful god becomes necessary.

    but hey, what difference does it make to us how someone dresses? its her choice and she sees her headwear as a sign of her devotion to her god. same with Jews wearing significant clothing. its a uniform and expresses uniformity, conformity, with her community.

    some might call it virtue signalling, other as love for her god.
