This company has been Chinese owned since 2016 and is probably currently the largest graphite miner in the world exChina.

Chinese local production had been traditionally large flake graphite mined in Shandong Province but those mines resources have been largely depleted. Chinese production has transitioned to Jixi/Mishan and Luo Bei counties in Heilongjiang Province mainly producing small flake for the battery anode market. Several large mines have come on stream in Heilongjiang in the last year resulting in an overcapacity and reducing prices. However China has turned to Africa to replace their large flake requirements for refractory and other industrial uses.
