up around Ophir, in central western NSW, around the river causeway, there are some open shafts and adits you can still access....(don't try it though, as you shouldn't ) ...........

I've been in a few, plus panning for gold around there and Stuart Town..........but no luck, only mud and dirt.

so the mystical charm eludes me............

but Gold in China on the SGE now is touching SGE 2401...........

so, maybe, I'll be charmed in another way..........
