Hi Alex, a short lead in and questions.

For a globally, significant discovery two years ago, A3 has been a failure with respect to flowing oil from all reservoirs. This is hard to comprehend considering that Melbana knew exactly what you were drilling into. For a well that kept kicking and coming at us in 2022. It seems all the kicking has been done by Melbana in 2024. Formation damage and associated problems should have been expected.

Question1
In offshore campaigns the use demulsification / acid fracking techniques appear to be standard practice and it’s difficult for a layman to accept we had no plans or contingencies in place for best practices. Why not?

Question 2
what well conditioning methods were employed when trying to flow each reservoir?

Question 3
With Melbana as operator Who was responsible for all aspects of well design and drilling supervision and monitoring procedures?

Question 4
were all aspects of the design and procedures peer reviewed by an independent consultant outside Sonangol and cupet? If not, why not?

Question 5
What went wrong, who’s accountable and who’s getting fired?
