It's not the past change that matters. It's the rate of change going forward, that matters, and how this is matched by opex, and relative to assets held, & whether or not those assets will be utilised to keep the ship afloat. Or if liquidated, when will it occur and what creditors (esp employees) will first have to be attended to, & what are the implications in terms of present value.
