I've had so many near miss's at our previous place with these tiger's, that it's not funny.
I have killed a few that come near the house. Over the years, 3 cats were bitten at differing times, which brings a bill of $2,000.00 at the vets to save them, goodness knows how much these days? But what do you do, if you take on an animal, you take on a family member, (stray or not).
We just spent $900 on our 17 yr old Princess yesterday, not a snake though, just old age and sadly, us probably putting off the inevitable. Waiting on test results to better enable us, to assess where she is at. But you yourself would know all about this.
