As for extended holidays, I do wonder how we know who has been suspended, for how long and why. If it's on the Hot Copper website, it is difficult to find.

Within reason, free speech in a liberal democracy is to be encouraged. As Voltaire said: "I disapprove of what you say, but I defend to the death your right to say it."

With respect to humour, some attempts are feeble, but others add a little colour. Angus's garage sale lifted our spirits and offered fine fare for astute buyers.

On the topic of news from Norwood, this has been a difficulty for years. Since Spark, I suppose that there has been not much to report, but one would expect a little follow-up on the progress of sundry projects. Shareholders are entitled to know what is happening in an enterprise where they are the owners. The quarterlies are full of jargon and little else.
