mumstheword,
I very much appreciate you comments and support.
The point that I have tried to make is that I was trying to reduce my exposure that I am facing with CDU.
Anyone who followed my posts knows how many shares I did hold, not because I was boasting, but simply because under the request at the time from NEV who was trying to find out what support we could offer WM in the case of a low ball T/O way back when. Fat chance of that now that we know what we have in front of us though.
Down the track maybe.. But way back when, it was just BR's talks that blinded many investors into believing things that weren't there, and that lead many people to disaster.
I am lucky enough, as I made previously known to the forum, that I could withstand the drop in the sp, even if they were to be reduced to nothing, and that CDU only represented about 20% of my total investments more or less. But being a little silly before, doesn't mean that I have to be a little silly all of the time either. I was looking for the big fully franked dividends by the year end or possibly next year that never eventuated, and possibly will not eventuate within the next few years either.
Besides, even if I was to sell another 60k shares now on top the other two lots that I have sold already, that would still leave me with about 50% of my original share holdings that I held in CDU prior to the famous and unexpected JORC.
I am very encouraged at what you wrote about what we can expect from the AGM though, but somehow, (and I do hope that I am wrong), I think that nothing will happen. I would be exctatic, if he was to come and tell us all that he was wrong, and that things would change and with more clarity in the future. That may even change my mind totally about what we could expect from CDU in the future, and possibly encourage me to get back in to my previous levels of holdings. But somehow I have my doubts that it will happen.
Taking what you wrote in full context though, I will rethink my doings. Maybe I will wait till the AGM and maybe not.
But, I can honestly say to this forum, that I have been and still am, very disappointed that a Long Term and very Faithfull Shareholder like I have been, can't even afford the decency/luxury of receiving from anyone in the Management, nor anyone in the Company, a return phone call.
Thanks again mate. It was very well received.
Buddy
