You nailed it , been thinking lower interest rates , will make holding gold more attractive there are extra advantages for explorers of a lower interest rate compared to holding gold or even in investing in current gold stocks mining gold right now .
Why ?
A lower discount rate on a NPV basis for explorer's projects is enhanced by them over current gold producers as they are further from production than current producers projects , with the discount rate negatively compounding over time
