I've never contemplated getting into shorting shares so I admit to even less than a basic knowledge of the ins and outs.
So a "novice" question:
If there are over 3m shares that need to be purchased to cover in the event of a substantial run-up in the SP, where are they going to come from?
No substantial holder is showing any inclination to sell.
