There are no major faults between us and Tassie, the Port Phillip heads offer some good protection. The only people that are going under water in the near future are those that live in Patterson Lakes.
There is NO WAY known that I would chance sea level on the east coat, a big fault that is ready to go is just off the coast of NZ.
I have noticed that one major quake triggers another major quake and these can be spaced out by many months.
The Earth rings like a bell with subsonic vibrations and this can trigger more events at a later date.
