Would do nothing unless the quack was very close to sure, in which case the tsunamis would be the least of melbournes problem.
There is a fault line thanrun throught the Latrobe valley and Gippsland, fairly old though, a few extinct volcanoes etc.
Out Geelong way might be a problem, but they all have two heads that way anyhow.
Perhaps Sydney is more at risk than Melb, especially along Bondi, and further up.
