What an incredibly ignorant and arrogant statement. Look at the state of our materiel across all our military...twenty years of announcements by both parties have resulted in the lowest number of available ships, the lowest number of missiles, no submarines for at least 4 electoral cycles to come, the cancelling of our military space program, the reduction in our armoured personell carrier purchase by two thirds and ten years late, more generals since the second world war and an undermanned army, navy and air force. Who moved our cheese? A bunch of bureaucrats and a series of Defence Ministers who commission inquiries but have failed to order materiel.
