Based on comparing the valuations of QMN with its local peers, and on potential near-term production of copper, with gold to follow, plus top-province exploration upside, this stock could rise rapidly.
The share price appears heavily discounted, and the problem is speculated to be that the markets aren't confident of QMN management's ability to bring the deposits to production. There has been some shareholder frustration over perceived lacks of adequate newsflow.
However, if QMN were to announce an effective arrangement to bring its copper and/or gold rapidly into production, and it could do that at any time, then any disenchantment might quickly evaporate, and likewise the upward price resistance. There are also drill results to look forward to, and the release of upgrade studies.
Will QMN's leaders manage to unlock the impressive value of QMN's deposits, and do so reasonably rapidly? There is a lot of background information that bears on answering questions like this about QMN, so, please, do your own research.
