I think something had to give at some point. A company with 2 separate tech intensive development tracks and is publicly listed from so early on. Google was developed with private money for 6 years before going public. Kudos to Mohammad Choucair for having got AXE this far. I wish him well.
Now I expect to see some re-structuring and some more spending actually. This is a grind and more people working at it will help move things along. The hard science has been worked out, now it's going through the systematic qubit engineering. But it is difficult to compete for the very in short supply staff. So maybe time to be willing to share IP rather than hold onto it exclusively. Yes, the qubit material is unique. But the end goal is to value add some quantum information processing to other businesses. The quantum industry is starting to mature to a point where we can see what near term uses are and what the 10 years away quantum tech is and who those players are. From what I have seen of the 12CQ development, they're targeting nearer term, 2 to 3 years. In which case they need to seriously consider accelerating with some joint owners is my personal take. How long are they going to stay in a lab. As rambleon said, need to get out of the lab.
Meanwhile MC is staying for 6 months and as others have suggested it might be to oversee some good progress especially with the biochip. Here again I don't see a way forward without some major diagnostic company help. Appreciate the whole graphene supply chain work. Now onto the next phase. DYOR people. Let's see what happens in these next months. Could be a win win.
