No there will always be a place for the dog particularly the ‘dog in a manger’.

Actually I am glad Brainchip does not have a research partnership with Fraunhofer as they are not the fish Brainchip are out to catch. They are chasing Fraunhofer’s customers like Hyundai and Boston Dynamics.

We have been told by Brainchip that potential customers are testing AKIDA under NDAs. We were told some months ago that they had some eight design wins under consideration.

If Hyundai was a potential customer for AKIDA it would use Fraunhofer its research partner of long standing to test AKIDA. All the evidence suggests that the testing was successfully undertaken and demonstrated.

Fraunhofer reports back the results to Hyundai and Boston Dynamics and collects its fee. Any commercial engagement would then be handled between Brainchip and Hyundai/Boston Dynamics.

By the way the six Ericsson researchers who published the results of successfully developing a ZeroEnergy AKIDA powered camera for 6G did so in an environment where neither Ericsson or Brainchip show each other as partners or acknowledge any relationship at all between the two companies. Much like Brainchip’s acknowledged relationship with Mercedes Benz where even after Mercedes Benz made their disclosure Brainchip to this very day states they cannot talk about it.
