It’s interesting that the low Lithium price has helped bring the price of EV’s in China down to parity with ICE vehicles , according to a couple of articles I’ve read recently . It remains to be seen if the Europeans and Americans can get to within 20 percent or thereabouts of the Chinese price , also if the quality of vehicle is better than Chinese equivalent . I , personally haven’t been in a Chinese EV but from what I’ve read the quality is pretty good . Obviously the tariffs recently announced on Chinese vehicles will bring pricing closer but the Euros and Americans have a lot of catching up to do . The good thing about China subsidising their Lithium miners and producers and EV manufacturing , is it will continue to increase demand for Lithium . Hopefully this combined with increasing demand for grid storage and home batteries will push demand and therefor Lit price higher .
