of the old school broadcap LICs ( AFI, ARG, AUI, DUI, WHF, BKI ) , BKI has been the worst performer over the past 10 years both at NTA ( with divs reinvested ) and at share price ( with divs ). https://www.firstlinks.com.au/uploads/2024/reports/BP_LIC_Weekly_Report_Indicative_NTA_8_Jul_2024.pdf they also did an appalling thing a few years ago in offering new shares at a discount to new investors, to the detriment of existing holders, which annoyed quite a lot of investors. I've also found some of their top 20 holdings baffling. They've never had CSL ...... WTF ? but they have APA and NHC at no. 6 and 7, and Yancoal at no. 16. no thanks. I'll continue avoiding this one. AFI and AUI are much better LICs in my opinion. plus MIR ( run by AFI people ) for small & mid caps. ARG is OK too but AFI has done slightly better and there's no point holding too many.
