Amazing stuff.
Iron ore imports into China to June 30 2024 up 6.2%, Y-o-Y (to 611.18 million tonnes). June 24 imports (97.61 million tonnes) up 2% on June 23 imports.
At this rate, 2024 will be another record year for IO imports into China. Go figure! Apparently, surprise, surprise, there was a surge of shipments in the last two weeks of June! However, these are added to the July import stats due to the transit time. Figures for July will be even higher.
