    @1ronnie You remind me of Cassandra, the beautiful daughter of King Priam who foresaw and foretold the Fall of Troy, but no-one believed her. Apollo had promised her the gift of prophecy if she would love him, she promised and then refused, so he amended the gift with the proviso, that she was able to fore-see and fore-tell the future but she would never be believed.

    Seems to be a general fault of humanity: firstly, to never learn from past mistakes and secondly to be forever hopeful that 'she'll be right - this time' -
    I am guessing the powers in charge will manage to keep the American economy going until after the elections, barring a prior and cataclysmic event.
    At the moment I am not invested, but have a little gold gamble in mind (sold too early from a likely 'runner' and am trying to get back onto the train).
