I was mostly aiming that at our recycling tech...

I am already losing faith in the tariff tactic, which seems to be the angle both the US and the EU will use to combat the Chinese offerings.

In my view, it is a weak strategy and may only have a temporary impact, as the CCP starts to institute counter tariffs, as well as pushing them to threaten, and possibly follow through, with a complete export ban of RE's...as well as other refined commodities.

So for me, mines are not the complete answer, refining capacity is the key, and this really should have happened at least 10 years ago.

Rock can come from a few western/AUKUS nations, thorium and penalty elements of course also have to be considered.
As well as the emerging clay sources...

But recycling in the bigger US and EU markets, is the quickest, safest and cheapest way to get some product to alloy and magnet makers, and begin the full decoupling from China.

In the current environment, the focus, energy and capital should be allocated asap.

And if Ionic Tech was already established in the US, I reckon they would have already received a big cheque, and we would be on our way to commercialization.

    But for now, we wait....

And as for US elections, the bipartisan approach should ensure that no matter who wins, they will support our endeavours.

And I still hold no faith in permitting mines in the US, no matter what the rhetoric is out of DC.
