as far as I see it’s business as usual for the next 6 months while the recruitment of a new ceo takes place (if there isn’t already a suitable candidate waiting in the wings).
the departing CEO has at least $1m worth of stock on the line, so I doubt they will act with the same irrationally some posters here are declaring will happen Monday morning, but rather keep sprinting towards the finish line and pass the baton with full intent to win the race.
the right moves in the next 6 months could make that $1mil 10’s and allow a comfortable and early retirement if that’s his choice.
I reckon he has enough of a vested interest to keep steering the ship straight to the moon.
