Yes the oncology trial landscape in Australia is very crowded these days, not helped by overseas companies choosing to run their trials here just to access the R&D Tax rebate - I am not sure it is in the Australian taxpayers interest to be subsiding foreign companies via the R&D rebate system.

In our case we have found a fair bit of interest from clinicians here so I don't think we will have too much trouble recruiting, but one of the ways we have tried to reduce the risk of slow recruitment is by opening sites overseas in Asia where we have strong clinician interest.
