A self made billionaire who could literally be doing what ever he wanted was shot and injured in an assassination attempt and his first reaction was to tell the secret service wait, wait. Then say fight, fight.
Doesn't sound to me like the actions of someone who doesn't care about his country or its people.
Exact opposite I'd say.
