I am (clearly) no chartist.
However, I am actually encouraged by those hourly candles Monday Tuesday last week on the hourly below.

Spent time outside the lower Bollie early Mon but responded well.
Nice little bullish hammer early that arvo and respected the lower Bollie for the rest of the day.
Another early test Tues but again responded well around lunchtime w a nice green candle.
Finished Tue nicely on a little bullish hammer nicely supported by the Bollie median.

Wednesday’s Ann could not have been timed better from this short term pov.
Our early bull flag candle then played out nicely over the remainder of the week.
Tested the Bollie median Thur arvo after straying outside the schoolyard
Bounced nicely again off that median w another nice green candle lunchtime Friday underpinning a solid close.

We finally saw some volume in the back half of the week and as others have noted, the wheel may be turning.
Fair to say we are (over)due.
